Hamburg Kinetikpark der Gernot Huber StiftungThis is a helix or screw geometrically intersected with a sphere. This shape is ideal to convert wind power to a rotating movement. It is not possible to bend it from sheet steel. Therefore the helix had to be composed out of hundreds of pieces of wire.
